As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will complete routine patrols of building interiors and exteriors, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance with clear communication. You will document observations, support access control procedures, and deliver customer service to tenants and visitors. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and access concerns.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, medical events, suspicious activity, and property-related issues, and request additional support when appropriate.
- Control access by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials when required, and directing visitors and deliveries according to site procedures.
- Complete detailed written reports of daily activities, patrol findings, and incident response actions, and communicate relevant information to property management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
