As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and provide customer service with professionalism and integrity. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license per Allied Universal driver policy, supporting a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and people first.

Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and/or visitor management processes.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to appropriate contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor cameras, intrusion detection, and other security-related systems as assigned, documenting observations and reporting irregular activity per post orders.
  • Complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents, and daily activities, and communicate shift updates to supervisors and oncoming personnel.
