About The Position
As a Security Officer - Defense Facility Rounds in LIMA, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements
- Be 21+ years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency services as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification and/or authorization, managing visitor processing, and directing individuals to the appropriate location.
- Complete incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and communicate notable conditions to Allied Universal supervision and site management.
