Job Description As a Security Officer - Dispatch Operator in Dallas, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Dispatch Security Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor activity, coordinate security-related responses, and support on-site teams through clear, professional communication. You will help keep operations running smoothly by tracking incidents, directing resources, and maintaining a visible, customer-service mindset. Requirements

  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property location.
  • Operate the dispatch console to receive calls for service, monitor alarms and camera systems, and coordinate officer response using radio, phone, and/or electronic messaging.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, gathering key details and relaying clear information to on-site personnel and/or first responders as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including shift activity logs, incident reports, access and key control records, and notifications to property management per post orders.
  • Support access control operations by verifying credentials, issuing visitor and/or contractor badges, and directing arrivals to designated check-in procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry.
