About The Position

As a Security Officer - Dispatch Operator in Eden Prairie, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in a healthcare location, you will help coordinate security-related responses, monitor alarms and cameras, and support access control and badge activity. You will be a clear, calm communicator, logging calls and incidents, dispatching officers to priority needs, and partnering with site staff to keep operations running smoothly. Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a healthcare location, including answering phones and directing requests to the appropriate resources.
  • Monitor alarm systems, video surveillance, access control notifications, and/or other monitoring tools; dispatch on-site personnel and coordinate responses as directed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with clinical staff, facilities, and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Document and communicate shift activity, incident details, and dispatch actions using required reports, logs, and/or computer systems while handling sensitive information with discretion.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
