As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to calls for service, and provide professional customer service and communication to site personnel and visitors. Requirements

Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

A guard card/license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aero/defense location.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter checkpoints to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations; working conditions may vary by assignment.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, manage visitor sign-in, and direct traffic flow per site requirements.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting details, and coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
Complete security-related reports such as daily activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate pertinent information during shift turnovers.
