As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting access control and incident reporting. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license and adherence to AU Driver Policy Requirements.

Requirements

  • 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Military/Security Experience OR a College Degree is required.
  • Supervisory Experience is required.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • 21+ Years of Age is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a tech-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access control points, verify visitor credentials, manage sign-in processes, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas according to site policy.
  • Complete detailed reports for incidents, patrol activity, and client requests, and assist with coordination of security-related protocols during special events and/or high-traffic periods.
