Join Allied Universal at a leading tech and telecommunications location, supporting an unarmed patrol post that helps maintain a secure environment for critical operations. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, document observations, and communicate professionally with site personnel and visitors. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements, offering an active role where integrity, teamwork, and innovation matter.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a high-availability technology location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior spaces, loading areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify irregular conditions.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control points; verify authorized entry, check credentials and/or badges, and document visitor and contractor activity in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel, supporting evacuations and/or shelter actions as directed, and assisting with scene control until additional help arrives.
  • Complete detailed reports and shift logs, communicate pass-down information, and coordinate with site operations and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns and/or service requests.
