You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, respond to calls for service, and support store teams and guests with professional communication. Bring a valid driver’s license and a people-first mindset as you deliver reliable service through teamwork, integrity, and innovative, agile thinking.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of sales floors, entrances, receiving areas, parking lots, and the perimeter; working conditions may vary by site.
• Help to deter theft, disorderly conduct, and/or unauthorized access through visible presence, observation, and timely reporting of suspicious activity.
• Complete required reports and documentation, support investigations as directed, and communicate updates to Allied Universal management and client representatives.
