You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and/or the perimeter, noting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and traffic flow, verifying identification, directing visitors and/or deliveries, and supporting compliance with facility entry requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing basic assistance, requesting additional support, and completing required notifications.
  • Document security-related activities, patrol findings, and incident details in written logs and/or electronic systems, and communicate key information during shift handoff.
