As an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will conduct routine mobile and on foot patrols, support access control and badge checks, and respond to calls for service with clear communication and a customer service mindset. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout offices, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or irregular conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, and visitors using site protocols, access control systems, and/or visitor logs.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
- Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to site contacts, and support a professional environment at a technology and communications location.
