As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will provide customer-focused assistance, clear communication, and accurate reports while supporting a reliable, innovative, and people-first team culture. This is a driving post, requiring a valid drivers license in line with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and service requests in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout offices, work areas, parking areas, and building perimeter, observing for irregular activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
  • Monitor access points and security-related systems such as cameras, door status, and visitor management tools, documenting unusual conditions and reporting concerns through the chain of command.
  • Complete detailed shift reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, communicating observations and follow-up actions to the next shift and/or site contacts.
