About The Position

As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol Full-Time in Goodyear, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, assist with access control and visitor interactions, and document observations using site tools. This is a driving post, so you will need a valid driver’s license. Bring strong customer service and communication while working with a team that values integrity, reliability, and innovation.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all associates, drivers, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and security-related protocols, and by assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting details and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout warehouse, loading dock, yard, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify irregular conditions.
• Monitor and log inbound and outbound traffic at designated entry points, including verifying credentials and/or shipping documentation as required by post orders.
• Complete daily reports and incident reports, communicate status updates to supervision, and support site operations by following established escalation and communication procedures.
