About The Position

As a Security Officer - Full-Time Patrol Driver in Racine, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will patrol and inspect assigned areas, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist shoppers and employees with clear, respectful communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities for a retail or mall location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and contacting on-site management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior shopping areas, corridors, loading and receiving areas, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and common areas, observe for suspicious or unusual activity, and assist with traffic flow and/or customer directions when needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in written reports and communicate pertinent information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
