About The Position

As a Security Officer - Driver Perimeter Patrol in Mount Juliet, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech, media, and telecom location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post. You will conduct routine mobile and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter incidents, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. Requirements

• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors and employees by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help identify unusual activity, unsecured doors, or hazards, with working conditions varying by location.
• Monitor security-related systems such as CCTV, alarms, and access control panels, and report observed issues and/or suspicious activity according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with on-site contacts and/or public responders when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and service requests in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
