As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will greet drivers and employees, verify credentials, manage entry and exit points, and document activity to support strong security-related operations. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help reduce incidents, and deliver clear communication and customer service that reflects Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.23 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Control access at entry and exit points by checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, verifying delivery appointments, and maintaining accurate logs for employees, contractors, and drivers.
• Monitor security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and access control panels, and report unusual activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with traffic flow, dispatching notifications, and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility grounds, dock areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized entry and identify maintenance and/or operational concerns.
