As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, track visitors and deliveries, and support a smooth flow of traffic at the gate and dock areas. You will remain highly visible, conduct routine patrols, document security-related activity, and communicate clearly with team members and site leaders. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, drivers, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control protocols, and emergency response activities as needed.
- Control entry and exit at gates and/or lobby points by checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor and vendor logs, and directing traffic flow to designated areas.
- Support dock and yard operations by verifying delivery appointments, reviewing shipping paperwork as required by post orders, and coordinating with site contacts regarding access approvals and exceptions.
- Monitor cameras, alarms, and communication channels for unusual activity, and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, completing required notifications and reports.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, parking lots, and the perimeter when assigned, and document observations to help to deter unauthorized access and/or unsafe behavior.
