As a Screener with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will welcome associates and visitors, support access control at key entry points, and help identify potential security-related concerns through screening procedures and clear communication. You will stay highly visible, document observations, and escalate issues using established protocols. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and employees by following Allied Universal site-specific procedures for entry screening, access control, and other security-related requirements at an industrial location.
- Screen and verify identification, issue and/or collect visitor credentials, manage sign-in logs, and direct authorized persons to the appropriate areas while helping to maintain orderly entry lines.
- Monitor and control access points, gates, and/or checkpoints, including coordinating with receiving and shipping traffic as needed and reporting access issues to site leadership.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating site-specific emergency response activities and communicating with emergency services when directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of entrance areas, nearby exterior zones, and assigned interior routes, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
