Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific access procedures and supporting security-related protocols at an industrial location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, authorize access for approved personnel, and report access concerns or unusual activity to the appropriate contact.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, production areas, and perimeter to help identify potential concerns and support security-related policy compliance.
- Communicate with site leadership and/or Allied Universal personnel regarding visitor processing, delivery access, restricted areas, and other access control-related activity.
