Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading aero and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas and conduct routine patrols to help support a secure environment. You will stay visible, document and report security-related activity, assist with access points, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. Requirements
- The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aero and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts and documenting actions taken.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production and office areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards and maintenance concerns.
- Control access through designated entrances by verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, directing deliveries to approved locations, and maintaining sign-in and sign-out documentation as required.
- Complete detailed reports and logs, including patrol findings, incident documentation, and shift activity summaries, and communicate notable information during shift handoff.
