As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, support access control, and respond to requests with strong customer service and communication. You will document observations and share timely updates with site leadership. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Customer Service Experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed foot patrols throughout the facility, including offices, lobbies, common areas, and the exterior perimeter, documenting observations per post orders.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating key details to Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts.
- Monitor access points and interior activity during patrols, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or prohibited behavior, and reporting suspicious activity according to site policy.
- Complete required reports and logs, including incident documentation and patrol activity records, and assist with customer and visitor questions as needed.
