As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will staff access control points, verify credentials, manage visitor and vehicle entry, and support a smooth flow of people and deliveries. You will stay visible, document security-related activity, and communicate clearly with teams on site to help to deter incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, built on integrity, teamwork, and a caring culture. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at gates and/or entry points by verifying credentials, processing sign-in and/or sign-out, issuing temporary badges when directed, and directing traffic flow to designated areas.
• Monitor inbound and outbound activity including trailers, packages, and vehicles for irregularities, and report concerns per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility interior, exterior, and perimeter, and complete patrol logs and daily activity reports per site requirements.
