As an Armed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with site personnel, respond to concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. This role requires an armed guard card/license and a valid driver’s license. Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Carry and maintain authorized firearms and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, site post orders and applicable laws and/or licensing requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site personnel and public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of production areas, warehouses, yards, parking areas, entry points and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards.
• Control access for employees, contractors and visitors by verifying identification and/or credentials, monitoring vehicle and pedestrian gates and documenting arrivals, departures and security-related events.
