As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a highly visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support access control at key entry points. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state. You will represent Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach while communicating clearly with staff and visitors.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or truck drivers by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouses, yards, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and vehicle entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or shipping documentation as directed, and help maintain orderly traffic flow for deliveries and pickups.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating notifications to site leadership and/or first responders as needed.
• Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation, and communicate noteworthy observations to the next shift and site contacts.
