As an unarmed driving patrol officer at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access points, and respond to alarms and/or badge activity as needed. You will stay visible to help reduce incidents, document observations, and deliver standout customer service through clear communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
  • Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology data center location.
  • Control access at designated entry points by checking credentials, issuing temporary badges when directed, maintaining visitor logs, and directing traffic to appropriate areas.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations per post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, server halls, loading areas, and the perimeter, documenting observations and submitting required reports.
  • Monitor alarms, CCTV, and building systems when assigned, communicate with site contacts and/or dispatch, and assist with coordination of contractors and deliveries per site procedures.
