As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support smooth operations by monitoring entry points, conducting screening procedures for personnel, visitors, and packages, and completing security-related checks and documentation. You will stay visible, communicate clearly with team members and site staff, and respond to concerns with professionalism. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to location staff, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct screening and access control at designated entry points, including verifying identification and credentials, managing visitor logs, and directing personnel to proper check-in and/or waiting areas.
• Monitor inbound and outbound activity in a logistics and distribution environment, including observing loading dock and yard traffic, reporting suspicious or unusual activity, and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying site leadership and/or Allied Universal management as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the building and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location and operational needs.
