Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a luxury hotel and resort location, you will patrol guest areas, entrances, and back-of-house spaces, staying visible and approachable. You will complete routine rounds, respond to service calls, support access control, and document incidents using clear communication. Requirements

  • Possess 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Possess a guard card/license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a hotel and resort location.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout interior public areas, back-of-house spaces, and the exterior perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by post and shift.
  • Monitor access points and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior to help to deter unauthorized entry and other unwanted activity.
  • Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
