As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations with clear communication. You will conduct routine rounds, observe and report unusual activity, and assist visitors and employees with professional customer service. Requirements
- Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Have customer service experience preferred.
- Have a guard card and/or license preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or policy issues.
- Monitor access points and public areas, observe for unusual conditions, and assist with visitor direction and de-escalation when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional resources when needed and supporting client and Allied Universal protocols.
- Complete timely reports and logs of patrols, incidents, alarms and/or maintenance concerns, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
