You will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to resident concerns with clear communication and customer-focused service. Using a computer or tablet, you will document observations and share timely updates with your team. Bring integrity, reliability, and an agile mindset to a people-first, innovative culture.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential buildings, common areas, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and community activity, help to deter unauthorized entry, and assist with visitor check-in and/or directing deliveries in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, noise complaints, and/or resident requests for assistance.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of patrol activity, incidents, and observations; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and/or property management as required.
