Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and telecommunications location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor screening. You will complete routine rounds, document observations, respond to calls for service, and deliver customer-focused communication with employees and guests. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a technology campus by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, labs, common areas, loading and shipping zones, parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access control points by observing entrances and exits, verifying authorization as directed and reporting access concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical situations, alarms, suspicious activity and/or workplace disruptions.
  • Document patrol findings, incidents and observations in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff and/or to client representatives.
