About The Position

As a Security Officer - Parking Garage Patrol in Duncan, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access points and visitor activity. You will complete routine rounds, report concerns, and communicate clearly with site contacts while delivering a customer-first experience. Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to Allied Universal clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activities according to site protocol.
Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or irregular conditions for reporting.
Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, managing visitor and contractor sign-in, and directing deliveries and drivers to the proper locations.
Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or access control systems as assigned, reporting and escalating unusual activity per post orders and client requirements.
