Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced tech, media, and telecom location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist employees and visitors with a customer-first approach. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in line with AU Driver Policy Requirements. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and/or operational concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and/or credentials when required, and assist with visitor and contractor check-in processes consistent with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying appropriate contacts according to post orders.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident reports, and communicate relevant updates to supervisors and client representatives while supporting a professional environment at a technology and communications location.
