Join Allied Universal at a leading financial institution location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will conduct routine rounds, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support staff and visitors with clear, professional communication. This is a driving post, so you will use a vehicle to cover assigned areas, document observations, and respond to requests with agility, teamwork, and integrity in a people-first culture.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a financial services setting.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including offices, lobbies, ATM areas, and perimeter areas as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access by monitoring entry points, checking identification as directed, and/or directing visitors to the appropriate destinations.
  • Complete security-related reports, shift activity logs, and/or incident documentation, and communicate notable conditions to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
