As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will conduct routine rounds, report unusual activity, and support access points while providing helpful customer service and clear communication. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities while maintaining required armed post standards.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identifying maintenance and/or hazard concerns to be reported through the proper channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, suspicious activity, and requests for assistance from staff and/or visitors.
• Monitor access points, lobby traffic, and camera and/or alarm activity as assigned, verifying authorization for entry and directing visitors according to site procedures.
• Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs, communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts, and assist with cash and/or asset movement escorts when assigned.
