As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, observe and report unusual activity, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors while providing strong customer service. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings, exterior areas, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify maintenance and operational concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify identification, visitor authorization, and delivery documentation in accordance with site procedures, directing traffic and/or visitors as needed.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and service requests in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public responders when required.
- Complete security-related reports and logs, document patrol observations and incidents, and communicate shift updates to supervisors and the next shift.
