As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with site personnel, document observations, and deliver customer service that supports smooth operations. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting events and communicating updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, loading dock areas, parking lots, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance issues.
• Control access at entrances and designated checkpoints by verifying identification, monitoring visitor and driver sign-in processes, and directing deliveries to approved staging and/or dock areas per site policy.
• Complete routine security-related reports such as shift activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and support investigations by preserving observations and reporting relevant details.
