As an Allied Universal Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will focus on access control by greeting drivers and employees, checking credentials, managing visitor logs, and coordinating entry and exit with site teams. You will remain highly visible near key gates and checkpoints, communicate clearly during routine operations and unusual activity, and support a people-first culture through reliable service, teamwork, integrity, and innovative problem solving.

Requirements

• Security Experience ‐ 1+ Years.
• Guard Card/License - preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Manage access control at a logistics and distribution location by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, controlling entry and exit points, and directing traffic for deliveries and pickups.
• Monitor inbound and outbound activity by checking shipping and receiving documentation, maintaining accurate access logs, and reporting discrepancies per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and security-related concerns.
