As a Front Desk Security Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, supporting guest check-ins, visitor logs, badge access, and lobby monitoring. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate clearly with tenants and management, and document incidents with attention to detail. Requirements

  • Customer Service Experience - preferred.
  • Guard Card/License - preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and visitor management requirements.
  • Control access to the building lobby by verifying identification, issuing visitor badges, managing sign-in and/or sign-out logs, and directing guests to the appropriate suite or contact.
  • Monitor security-related systems from the front desk such as cameras, alarms, and access control panels, and report irregular activity according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying building management and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
  • Complete accurate reports and logs, document incidents, and communicate notable events to oncoming personnel and site contacts.
