As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet guests and staff, respond to requests, document observations, and communicate clearly with the site team. Requirements

  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a hotel and resort location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas such as lobbies, hallways, common areas, and amenities, as well as exterior grounds and parking areas to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor access points and respond to guest concerns, disturbances, and service requests in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or local emergency services when needed.
  • Complete detailed reports for incidents, suspicious activity, maintenance hazards, and policy violations, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
  • Support special events and peak check-in and/or check-out periods by providing a visible presence, assisting with crowd flow, and coordinating with hotel staff on guest-related issues.
