As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will welcome employees and visitors, manage access control, verify credentials, issue badges, and support visitor processing. You will monitor alarms and cameras, document incidents, and communicate clearly with site teams to help reduce security-related risks. Requirements

• Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors at the front desk by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate for an industrial location.
• Control access by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining entry and exit logs, and coordinating guest check-in and/or check-out with site contacts.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and communication systems; document unusual activity and notify designated personnel according to post orders and escalation guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, supporting evacuations and/or shelter instructions, and assisting first responders with site information.
• Complete detailed reports, maintain shift logs, and communicate status updates during shift turnover to support continuity of security-related operations.
