As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. You will document observations, respond to concerns, and support access control as needed. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Having a guard card and/or license is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout offices, common areas, loading or receiving areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting unusual activity, unsecured doors, and/or environmental hazards.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor management by verifying credentials, directing guests, and reporting unauthorized entry attempts in accordance with site policy.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken and promptly notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
Operate and monitor security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and access control, and complete required reports, shift logs, and incident documentation in a timely manner.
