About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol in Mooresville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms and/or calls for assistance, and document observations with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, shipping and receiving docks, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, checking credentials and/or visitor logs, and directing authorized visitors, contractors, and deliveries to the appropriate areas.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and coordinating with site contacts and/or local responders as directed.
  • Complete accurate reports of daily activities, patrol observations, and incident details, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal management and site leadership.
