As a Dispatch Officer at a leading chemical and petrochemical location, you will play a pivotal role in monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, provide visible presence, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch personnel and relay information as needed within a chemical or petrochemical facility.
  • Maintain detailed logs of all incoming and outgoing communications and document incidents and/or unusual activities.
  • Coordinate with on-site personnel to respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals as per site-specific procedures.
  • Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting visitors in accordance with established protocols.
  • Support site operations by following security-related procedures and policies unique to the location.
  • Communicate emergency information promptly and accurately to appropriate personnel and first responders as required.
