Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location where you will manage access control, greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, issue badges, monitor entry points, and document security-related activity using a computer or tablet. You will stay highly visible, communicate clearly, and help to deter incidents through consistent procedures and service-first support. Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, post orders, and security-related guidelines at an industrial location.
  • Control entry and exit at gates and/or lobby areas by verifying identification, confirming authorization, issuing temporary credentials as directed, and directing traffic to designated areas.
  • Monitor and operate access control systems, cameras, radios, and alarms; document activity and report irregularities according to site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate notifications and support emergency response activities as directed.
  • Complete detailed reports and log entries, including visitor records, deliveries, and incident documentation; communicate relevant updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
