As a Front Desk Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, supporting a smooth arrival experience while assisting with access control, visitor check-in, badge management, and phone and radio communications. You will monitor activity from the desk, document security-related incidents, and collaborate with site staff. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor lobby activity and access points, greet and direct guests, help manage visitor check-in and/or access credentials, and assist with delivery and vendor routing per site requirements.
  • Answer phones, respond to routine inquiries, and communicate issues to property management and/or appropriate contacts in a timely, professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and documenting actions taken.
  • Complete detailed reports and log entries, including visitor activity, incidents, and other security-related events, using site-required systems and processes.
