You will serve as a visible, customer-focused presence while using computer or tablet tools to help identify and address concerns. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
  • Have customer service experience preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific access control procedures, visitor check-in practices, and Allied Universal post orders.
  • Monitor lobby activity, cameras and/or alarm panels as assigned, and help to deter unauthorized access by reporting irregular activity per site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Issue and collect visitor badges and temporary credentials, manage key control and/or package delivery logs, and maintain accurate security-related documentation.
  • Answer phones, route calls, and communicate professionally with employees, vendors, and guests while supporting a high-traffic tech office environment.
