About The Position

As a Security Officer - Front Desk Attendant in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will welcome tenants and visitors, manage access control, monitor cameras and alarm panels, and respond to security-related concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. You will work with a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, in a caring culture that puts people first, delivering through teamwork and always acting with integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Having a state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Operate the front desk by greeting and directing visitors, verifying identification and/or access authorization, issuing visitor badges, and maintaining lobby awareness to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Answer phones, monitor incoming communications, and coordinate service requests or notifications with property management and/or building staff as directed by post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Complete required reports and logs including visitor records, incident documentation, and shift activity notes, and communicate pertinent information during shift transitions.
