Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.
  • Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
  • Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to students, staff, and visitors by following Allied Universal site-specific procedures and supporting daily front desk operations at an educational location.
  • Control access at the front desk by greeting and screening visitors, verifying identification and/or authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining visitor and delivery logs.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from the front desk and report unusual activity, maintenance issues, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate contacts.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and escalating to emergency services and/or campus leadership as required.
  • Support emergency response activities by following established protocols, communicating information to building occupants, and coordinating with responding personnel as directed.
