Job Description As a Security Officer - Perimeter Walking Patrol in Saint Ann, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a tech, media, and telecom location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, post orders, and emergency response activities as directed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking lots, entrances, and perimeter points to help to identify unusual activity and/or hazards.
- Monitor access points and verify identification and/or visitor authorization, assisting with visitor management processes in a professional manner.
- Document patrols, incidents, and service requests using written reports and/or electronic systems, and notify appropriate personnel of security-related concerns.
