As a Front Desk Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will welcome employees and visitors, support badge and access control processes, and help monitor alarms and camera activity as needed. You will be a visible, professional presence who documents incidents, answers questions, and escalates concerns with clear communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific security-related procedures and access control requirements for a manufacturing location.
  • Greet employees, contractors, and visitors; verify identification and/or authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain visitor and package logs.
  • Monitor security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and access control panels, and report irregular activity per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and/or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Complete written reports and shift logs, answer phones and radio traffic, and communicate security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
